Workshop Participant Pre-Survey

Past participants who have attended our trainings more than once will attest that none of our workshops are the same, even those held at the same venue. This is because we are always incorporating new information in our curriculum, straight from new research (sometimes unpublished) in the field. Bat acoustic hardware and software is rapidly changing and (usually) improving, as are physical capture techniques and survey protocols. Cave and mine entrances are all unique and present ever-evolving challenges across the county. We strive to keep our trainings fresh, relevant, and up-to-date with all the latest information students crave.

If you are planning to attend one of our trainings please take a moment to fill out the "Student Registration Details" form below. This information is used to help us plan field trips and certain classroom modules to make sure participants get more of what they came for, and less details that may not be applicable. It is also essential so we can plan for any unique food or lodging requirements you may have. After completing this form, you will receive an email confirmation, and any necessary follow-up.

Since 1998 Bat Conservation and Management has conducted endangered species surveys for business, industry, and agencies. We specialize in advancing bat acoustic monitoring technology and techniques; conducting professional training workshops for wildlife biologists just getting their start with bats; and providing fully tested equipment and survey gear for the professional bat worker. We also assist with solving bat/human conflicts and bats in buildings problems.
