  • Does the app support the batbox baton (not baton xd) ?

    No- neither Baton has a USB port connection, and that is where Batrecorder expects to find the audio input. There are likely other apps that will display the output from a Baton using an adapter. This is a rapidly changing field, it is best to look for compatible app suggestions by posting to the facebook group "Bat Call Sound Analysis Workshop" as this is a very active worldwide user group.

  • Does this app support Elekon Batscanner? I'd like to get IDable Sonagrams from the detected bat calls using the TRRS jack of the Elekon. Is that possible? Thanks in advance!

    I beleive the Bat Recorder app requires a USB ultrasonic microphone such as the Pettersson M500, most of the Binary Acoustic family, and some Dodotronic mics, and others. While the Bat Recorder description page https://digitalbiology.com/bat-recorder does not specifically mention the BatScanner, it does mention the Baton XD with is similar. As we have not tested the BatScanner with the Bat Recorder app please contact the developer https://digitalbiology.com/contact for the best answer.
