Present entrance to old copper mine workings. Note ditch excavation
in attempt to drain pool.

Ditch project did not help much, pool is still nearly waist deep.
Abundant aquatic life is found, including 4 bullfrogs, 30 leopard
frogs, salamanders, and a northern water snake (eek!).

Entrance passage, in snake area.

Short crawl into dry walking passage.

Dry passage contains extensive evidence of disturbance from local
teens.

20' climb into an upper level. Note abandoned "string"
used as rope by locals.

Mine is blocked by collapse only a few hundred feet inside. Significant
guano indicates the passage is blocked for humans, but not bats.
Copper mine totals: 2 little browns, 12 Northern long-eards,
6 Eastern pipistrelles
