"No photo will ever do justice to this place. Parts of a National Geographic special was filmed here. We caught the place at the right time of day, sunlight was pouring in next to the roaring waterfall. The temperature wasn't so hot though, and the landing pedestal was a sheet of ice. The pit continues another 30' below into wind-whipped spray, so Pattie changed-over her rope system and climbed out without ever touching a floor."

"This was my second trip to this site, and I'm disappointed in the shot because it's still underexposed despite using a fill flash. It was my first TAG area cave. It's also one of the most famous TAG caves. I should say "pit"; despite the huge entrance there is no cave at the bottom...the water disappears under a ledge and cannot be followed."
